Pink in the Rink Tickets/

Are on Sale this weekend, December 5 & 6 at the Canadian Tire on Chemong Road,  and the following weekend at Canadian Tire on Lansdowne Street West on December 12 & 13. Three Dollars from each ticket voucher sold will go directly to funding breast cancer research.

The Fowlers Corners & District Lions Club

 

are selling Christmas Trees commencing Dec. 2nd. We will be located outside, at the new 'Craftworks' & Antiques Barn' east of Fowlers Corners on the N/S of Lindsay Rd. There will be an assortment of Number one and premium varieties such as Scotch Pine, Balsam Fir, Fraser Fir & White Spruce. All trees are 6 to 8 foot tall. We will be closed on Monday & Tuesday's. Open Wed & Thursday 1pm to 7pm, Friday and Saturday 10am to 7pm; Sunday 11am to 6pm..

Family Support and Education meeting

Any and all are welcome for any reason - to make new friends, enjoy a delicious Christmas dinner, sing along to Christmas carols, help out another person. Christmas magic

 

 will descend on Murray St. Baptist Church on December 8th when the Peterborough Children’s Chorus presents their annual GLORIA Christmas concert at 7pm.  Tickets for the GLORIA concert are available at Titles Bookstore, by calling 740-6110. Tickets prices: adults- $15; seniors  - $12; students/children - $6; family (2 adults and 2 children/students) - $30.

 

Grace Senior Choir

 

and the Grace Worship Band for a Christmas celebration.  There will be old and new favourites as well as carol singing for everyone to join in.  The evening starts at 7 pm on December 6th, Grace United Church, Howden Street at Monaghan Road.  Refreshments served.  Free will offering.

 

Christmas by Candlelight


Saturday & Sunday, December 5 & 6 ~ 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm each night. Delight in the sights and sounds of the most wonderful time of the year at Christmas by Candlelight, Saturday and Sunday December 5 & 6 from 5pm to 9pm each night at Lang Pioneer Village Museum.  Take a tour by free horse-drawn wagon ride and marvel at the sight of a historic village lit by the soft glow of candles, lamps and lanterns. Hear the jingle of sleigh bells and the jolly sounds of Father Christmas.  On Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m., the traditional live Nativity will be magically brought to life by members of the Keene United Church, complete with farm animals.

The Kawartha Artists' Gallery & Studio hosts the opening of our "Annual Christmas Show" - a marvellous collection of art in all mediums by KAGS member artists.  Admission is free.
