Firday I attended the Trent Graduation ceremony for the teaching and nursing students.  My girlfriend graduated from the nursing program friday.  Very proud of her.  It's nice that someone in the relationship has a real job.

The ceremony  was about 3 hours long, and if you take a look at my profile picture, I'm a very bald man.  3 hours in the sun has turned my head a nice shade of Candy Apple Red.  And it hurts, oh my god it hurts.

So I went to the phone lines saturday to get some help from you as to how I should deal with my sunburn.  I'm open to anything at this point, and anything I got.  Here are a couple of suggestions phoned in to deal with sunburns this summer.

A very popular one was to use vinigar.  I've never heard of this, but, from the amount of phone calls I got, apparently a lot of people use vinigar to deal with sunburns.  A variation on this was to use vinigar, and after you do that put baking soda on the burn

Another suggestion was to use Pickle juice.

Another was to soak a cloth in milk, make sure it is very cold, then put it on the burn.  This makes some sense as, if you eat really hot foods, milk is very good at stopping the burn.

I would probably end up smelling like a salad if I tried all of those at once.

More suggestions included using various Aloe products and skin creams.  And of course, many people told me not to be an idiot and wear a hat and put on sunscreen.  I'm aware of these things, but we're beyond that now.

So if you have a suggestion, please leave a comment for me.  You're not only helping me but everyone else who may have a sunburn this summer.  But mainly me, as I'm not to happy with the Candy Apple Red Head I have now.  I seem to keep stopping traffic when I cross the street.
