So here you go, a few top songs of 2008 for me.

Kings of Leon - Sex on Fire  - I believe this is from their four release, so these guys have been around for awhile.  And this album is a bit of a detour for the band into a more stadium rock format (and marbles in the mouth sort of singing is gone).  A fun song none the less.

Cold War Kids - Something is not right with me - These guys were part of a 2007 release called OKX, which was a tribute to Radiohead's OK Computer.  They're a fun band, a lot of buzz around them at the moment in indie rock circles, check them out.

Weezer - Whatever they've done this year - Weezer is always fun.  I even like Pinkerton, which people thing almost destroyed the band.  I think people just need to open their ears.  I even enjoyed the christmas music Weezer released this year. 

The Dears - The whole new album - great Canadian rock, tons of material for you to check out.  Please do.

Kanye West - 808's and Heartbreaks - Yes, obviously Kanye is not rock, but this album is interesting, slightly groundbreaking, somewhat depressing and Kanye is always worth a good sound bite.  And Kanye is doing his best to make Pop music interesting again.
