Warchild Canada and The Wolf part 2

If you were hanging out with us early saturday afternoon, you heard our fundraiser for Warchild Canada.  Three local bands, The Five Aces, Uncle Ham and The Roach Rots, and House Taken Over performed on the streets of Peterborough busking for money for Warchild.  I had them all into the studio as well (much appreciated I might add, it was a wet day to say the least) to play a song and chat. 

Thank you to everyone who donated on the street yesterday.  But it's not over yet.

This Friday, March 5th, is a battle of the bands fundraiser in the Blue Room (above the Trash).  It will feature the three bands that were on the street and in the studio Saturday.   $5 at the door, with all money raised going to Warchild Canada.  Show starts at 9pm and the bands are competing for a very cool prize, the winner gets to perform at the Legendary Horse Shoe Tavern in Toronto.
