Welcome to my little corner of the Web.  It may not exactly be one "giant step for mankind"...but it is somewhat of a leap for me.  I'm the first to admit that I haven't exactly embraced technology - - one of the phones in our home is a rotary...and if I can figure out a way to text with it, I'll be really happy! 

 Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to sharing some of the things that happen in my life when I'm not on the air...sharing some of the things on my mind...and giving you a glimpse into the world of "Mr. Excitement".

 I get asked about that nickname all the time.  No...(surprisingly) my wife didn't come up with it.  The credit (er, blame?) goes to Jay Sharp.  Years ago (when the WOLF den was up on television hill) there was a calendar of early rock stars in the studio.  Legendary soul singer Jackie "Mr. Excitement" Wilson was featured one of those months...striking a pose in a white leisure suit.  Having too much time on my hands one day, I cut out a picture of my face (yeah...we're talking before the days of Photo Shop)...and pasted it seamlessly over the original Mr. Excitement's face.  Jay has made sure that the name has stuck ever since.

 As for the mental picture he often paints of me walking into the studio wearing "pea green pleater pants" - - they're actually "flat fronts" (no pleats!)....and, I prefer to think of them as "taupe"!!!
