LITTLE LIBBY JOHNS CHARITY BBQ FUNDRAISER

I received a touching email this AM from a man by the name of Dale Tait.  Friends of his have an adorable 2 year old daughter named Libby.  Little Libby has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. There is nothing that tugs on my heart strings more than a sick child. 

I've  spent time with a boy (Avery) who's been a leukemia sufferer since he was 14 months, he's now been battling for 8 1/2 years.  He is a huge inspiration to me. So, when I heard of an opportunity to help a family in need it seemed like a no brainer.

A lot of people who don't have children or have never had sick child don't realize the toll the illness has on the entire family.  Costs incurred while having a child in the hospital for treatments, can be overwhelming for a young family. I understand money is tight for many and any donations/ support can be made are more than appreciated in helping Little Libby and her family through a difficult time. 

Feel free to drop off any monatary donations or cards to the WOLF DEN at 159 King St. (Corner of King and George). Also, Dale the guy who informed of me of the Johns' family plight is having a charity BBQ tomorrow at 1692 Tara Rd. in Ennismore beginning at 4 pm.  For more information, call Dale at 905-953-6263.  Many local bands have volunteered their services to perform at this special fundraising event. Thank you to all of them.
