Oh XMAS tree...

Yesterday, driving past Home Depot my girlfriend saw some Christmas trees and decided we need one really bad... I caved and got her one.  I don't care for Christmas trees that much.  I had one three years ago and it died before the Jolly Fat Man had a chance to throw any presents under it.  After that I said Bah-Humbug to the tree portion of Christmas.

I did consider getting a fake tree and a pine air freshener to place behind the tree but I figured, heck I've got nothing better to do than sweep up pine needles everyday... Plus my cat needs something new to climb and scratch on, so we went with the real deal.

Got the stand, tree and some decorations, not just popcorn string decorations either... It's up and blocking most of the view of my TV screen from the couch where I sit... But hey, it sure does feel like Christmas Chez-Connors. I can't wait to get my hydro bill after this 6 foot energy guzzler is lit for 25 more days!!
