Pool Shark Pooch

If you know me, then you should know Karmyn, my adorably sassy (and slightly chubby) chihuahua.

She knows a few tricks -- "sit", "paw", "other paw".

And whatever the hell this is.

She's quite the actress too.

I can assure you, her breath is worse than mine.

Anyway, I came across this video of Raisin, a chihuahua who looks a lot like a skinnier version of my porky princess.

First of all, RAISIN(!) is a great name.

Second, this pooch is a real pool shark.

Does your pet have any special talents?

All Together Now

Hard to believe this was at a Green Day concert.

About 60,000 took in the show at London's Emirates Stadium, but while fans were waiting around, they started an impromptu sing-along to Bohemian Rhapsody.

Cut to last week.

Pretty impressive.

Just to put this in perspective, here is a clip from the Petes game back in March, where approximately 3,000 fans paid tribute to Stompin' Tom Connors with a giant sing-along.

I was there, and THAT felt pretty magical. I can't imagine 20 times more people chiming in.

What's the biggest sing-along you've ever ben a part of?

Modano Does Dallas

Change is good, right?

The Dallas Stars are switching things up a bit for the 2013/14 season.

It's been 20 years since the Minnesota North Stars moved to Dallas, and they're celebrating with new threads in a slightly different shade of green.

What do you think?

Speaking of the Stars, next season they will retire Mike Modano's number 9 jersey.

Modano's NHL career spanned 22 years, spending 21 of those seasons with the Stars. He holds 15 franchise records and he is the NHL's career leader in points as an American-born player.

I have a big soft spot for Mikey.

Always have, always will.

And with all this talk about Modano, let's go back to this incident involving Mark Messier (when he was with the Rangers). Head shots are not really funny, but I've gone ahead and skipped ahead to the best part of this clip.
