Another Hip Hop Hump Day already?

This week we'll put the spotlight on a couple of ladies. First is Brandy, who after a four year hiatus, has released a new single which has some traction.

The song, Put It Down, jumped six spots to No. 5 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Songs Chart this week, making it her first top ten tune on the chart in 10 years.

Now, I typically like Brandy.

Remember this gem?

Of course you do.

But this new song, Put It Down, needs to be, uh, put down, and it doesn't help that Chris Brown provides his lyrical genius on the track. Ick. Click here if you want to listen to it.

Next up, TLC's T-Boz has signed on for four episodes, and is currently filming, a new reality show called Totally T-Boz.

Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins is no stranger to reality television. In 2005, T and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas had a show called R U The Girl, which looked for Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes' replacement.

That bombed because NO ONE CAN REPLACE LEFT EYE.

In 2009, T-Boz was fired after five episodes on Celebrity Apprentice. To put a little persective on that, she outlasted Dennis Rodman and left a week before Khloe Kardashian.

This new show will focus on T-Boz's life -- her medical struggles, her life as a single mom, and her efforts to get back into the music business. And full circle, the show will air next year on TLC!
