I was a little uninspired by the 64th Emmys last night. Not to say I'm not excited for another season of award shows, fabulous outfits and great television -- I am.
Was just hoping to see more John Hamm and less everyone else.

That's a blue tux by the way. HE WOULD.
Anyway, to recap the actual awards quickly -- Barack Obama's favourite show, Homeland, picked up Best Actor and Actress, Claire Danes and Damian Lewis. Holla!

Not surprising, Modern Family picked up a bunch of awards.
Louie CK snagged two, one for Best Writing in a Comedy Series and one for Writing for a Variety Special.
Jon Cryer was in the spotlight for his Best Actor in a Comedy Series win. That surprised everyone.
Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad won Best Supporting Actor in a drama series and he made a very moving speech about follwing his dreams. He also laid a big kiss on co-star and fellow nominee Giancarlo Esposito.

And we thought the Clinton/Obama embrace was special. This was a full-out bro-kiss!
Anyway for the full list, you can click around here. Also, I think I should watch Game Change.
Speaking of Game Change, Julianne Moore picked up Best Actress in a Miniseries and although she wasn't the only one in lime green last night, she wins for best bright.
Her Christian Dior Couture gown works well with her skin and hair. Love the lipstick and loose tresses.

I'm semi-obsessed with Mad Men actor, Elisabeth Moss' new blonde 'do. She looked cute in her custom Dolce and Gabbana dress. Not my fave, but not my least fave. There's a lot going on there.

Speaking of Mad Men, Jessica Pare always looks gorgeous.

And where the hell have I been? When did the shnozzberry guy from Super Troopers hook up with Christina Hendricks?

I looked it up, and they have been married since 2009, but REALLY? Dreams really do come true.
The girls from my fave show Girls were split for me. While I LOVE Lena Dunham, it was Zosia Mamet in a Bibhu Montripatra that was the big winner for me.

Edie Falco looked lovely in Stella McCartney, although I feel like this style is getting a lot of play on red carpets lately. I really just like the navy and white combo. And I really want a gold belt.

And I can't talk about the Emmys and red carpet, without giving the ribbon on Sofia Vergara's Zuhair Murad gown a shutout.

It worked hard.
You can see all of the lovely wears from the 64th Emmys here.
