No cancellations this time. Elton John played to a packed house last night at the Memorial Centre.

From the moment the lights dimmed and Elton stepped on stage, the vibe was electric.
Sir Elton apologized for leaving the city hanging earlier this month. Do you think he read my letter?
He told the 5000-strong crowd that he'd never been in a position where he had to cancel a show 15 minutes before, and had a bout with bronchitis since cancelling the September 8th show.
As you can see, my seats weren't the best, but Elton sounded terrific, and MAN what an incredible pianist. Seriously, I'd never seen anything like it.
The was only one minor snag. Mid-way through Someone Saved My Life Tonight, Elton needed his piano fixed, and left the stage for about 15 minutes.
But he came back, finished the show, came out to sign autographs and then performed an encore. Here it is.
