Celebration Day

Big news for Led Zeppelin fans. Yesterday, the band announced Celebration Day, a concert film based on their 2007 charity performance in London.

The movie will be in theatres October 17 and word on the street is that Galaxy in Peterborough will be showing it.

The band broke up in 1980 after the death of drummer John Bonham. 27 years later, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, along with Bonham's son Jason, headlined a show at London's O2 Arena for a tribute gig to Atlantic Records' founder Ahmet Ertegun.

20 million people applied for tickets, only 18000 people got into the show which leads me to believe this movie release is going to be HUGE!

Here's the trailer:

What's your favourite Led Zeppelin tune?

This is mine.
