I have been in Peterborough for about two years now, and I'm a bit embarrassed to say I hadn't ventured out to the big barn on Lindsay Road until this past weekend.
Apparently you're not allowed up there, but since when have I passed up an opportunity to get my picture taken on a giant rocking chair?
Never, that's when.
CraftWorks at the Barn is so much fun. It combines my love of antiques, trinkets, treasures, collectables, toys, records, books, furniture, art, crafts, gifts, interior and exterior design, history and MINIATURES!
They even sell local beef, poultry and cheese.
Honestly, I could have spent hours exploring -- not only because of all the neat stuff, but also because it's massive!
CraftWorks opened in 1997 and has been at their Fowler's Corners location since 2009. It's locally owned and operated and showcases a barn-load (literally) of local talent.
AND there's a Christmas Store!
