The Maple Leafs have written an open letter of apology to their fans over their disapointing season.
In the letter, chairman of the board Larry Tanenbaum thanks the fans for their "unwavering passion and loyalty"
They take full responsibility for the team's performance and make no excuses for the way the year ended.
They say they are 100 % committed to making the Leafs a successful playoff team and to making the fans proud.
