For the fourth year-in-a-row, the Century 21 Lakers will be playing the Six Nations Chiefs for the Everett Coates Memorial Trophy and the chance to head out west and compete for the Mann Cup – The national championship. The Lakeshow hasn’t forgotten the ending to last year’s finals. They were sitting with a comfortable 3-0 series lead over Six Nations and they just couldn’t finish them off. The Chiefs came back to win the series 4-3 in dramatic fashion.
You can bet that redemption and revenge will be fresh on the Lakers’ minds as they take the floor Tuesday night in Six Nations and they’ll be playing with a chip on their shoulders and something to prove. This is going to be the sport of lacrosse at its finest and will be showcasing some of the biggest names in the sport.
There is a fan bus heading to games 1 & 4 in Six Nations on Tuesday August 22 & Tuesday August 29. The bus will begin boarding at 3:30pm and leave at 4:00pm sharp. The cost of the bus is $35 per person plus the purchase of your ticket at the game. Call Lynn at (705) 748-3384 – Spots must be reserved in advance!
