I’m guessing last night’s Sheepdogs concert was the 2nd biggest crowd of the summer at Del Crary Park with Peterborough Musicfest. (The biggest crowd so far this season was Our Lady Peace Aug 2nd.)
The Sheepdogs are quickly becoming one of my favourite bands to see live. The thing I love the most seeing them live is that they sound just like they do on the radio. These guys can play and sing.
It was a homecoming show for Bailieboro’s Jimmy Bowskill (he’s the one wearing the cowboy hat). Jimmy not only grew up and went to school in this area…he is one hell of a musician. In fact…he performed on the Peterborough Musicfest stage at Del Crary Park at the age of 14. PS – Jim is a self taught musician.
Here he is showing off his skills on the steel guitar.
