So, to recap: Peterborough – Where Roads and Rivers Meet is likely to be scratched in favour of something new.

So I asked you to come up with a New Slogan using only 5 words
Monday night’s Peterborough city council meeting sparked and interesting debate on social media. Months ago the city of Peterborough brought in the help of a local consulting firm called BrandHealth to help come up with a with a new promotional marketing campaign for Peterborough, including a new logo and a new “motto” or tagline for the city.
The firm presented a potential tagline of Peterborough “Where Roads and Rivers Meet”
I had my fun with the topic, this week on the radio and on my new facebook live segment where I can take your calls on any subject you want to chat about.
Check out the 200+ comments on this post that was being shared around on Tuesday evening, some of these comments are just down right hilarious and some are pretty creative, other are kinda mean.
The city has tweeted out looking for public opinion. You can have your say by filling out an online comment through the city’s website

Not sure growth and innovation would make the road-metaphor list if you were to ask most people. Really shouldn't have to explain a tag-line

Although not offensive, I think there should be something more. It a nice slogan but any place could use it. What makes Ptboro special?

My Suggestion is still Peterborough “Where friends and family are waiting for you…. and they hope you brought beer”
