This weekend’s Parliamentary Press Gallery Dinner was an interesting affair. There were so many things that could have been the highlight: Kevin Vickers, the hero from the Parliament Hill shooting in October 2014, making jokes about tackling a protester at a recent memorial service in Dublin, Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau doing yoga on stage, or the fact that a Prime Minister spoke at the Press Gallery Dinner for the first time in a decade. But all of that pales in comparison to outgoing NDP leader Tom Mulcair’s speech. Skip ahead to the 1 minute mark for some of the more interesting comments. The majority of the bad language is censored.
