I think there was a lot of hype for Batman v. Superman in the lead-up to its release yesterday. I even remember back last July when someone made a spoof of the trailer incorporating It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, ultimately turning it into “Dayman v. Nightman: Dawn of the Troll Toll.”
As I recall, some folks were a bit puzzled at the choice of Ben Affleck to play The Dark Knight. I personally didn’t care much either way – I was more concerned about whether or not he’d be able to perfect the “Batman snarl” that Christian Bale used.
For Affleck and the rest of the crew, however, it would seem that they’ve got bigger problems on their hands… I haven’t been reading the reviews, myself, but this interviewer has, and knows they’re pretty godawful.
Oh… That look. It’s almost as if he’s still in character as Bruce Wayne, remembering the exact moment his parents were shot.
Looking at this, I can’t help but be reminded of that famous Simpsons clip – you know the one.
As you can see in that first video, the film as a 31% Rotten Tomatoes score, which is pretty abysmal. Surprisingly, its rating on IMDB is a little bit better.
Having not seen the film, I can’t pass any judgment… But I don’t think I have to. That face… That’s how you know he knows it kinda sucks.
