Wednesday was Bell Let’s Talk day and the response from everyone was outstanding, but the talking needs to continue. There is still a lot of stigma towards mental health issues, and as long as they stay in place there will be people not getting the help they need. I’ve lived depression and anxiety for most of my life, so I know how much of a challenge it can be to get through the day or communicate with people. I can also tell you from my own experience that with help and understanding, you can regain a foothold and take charge of your life again. You may still live with depression, but you can also take more control of it. Check out the video below, it may give you an idea of what it can be like to live depression.
