A couple of nice things after a couple weeks of nasty things.
First, Peterborough’s newly-elected councillors each donated $100 to Wounded Warriors names of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent.
Pretty proud of those guys.
Maybe it had something to do with Don Cherry’s most recent rant (which I loved).
Second, Wounded Warriors actually have a big event this weekend in Whitby. They will be unveiling the new Park of Reflection at Cullen Gardens.
The Park of Reflection is the first of its kind in Canada, and will provide a gathering space to give thanks, show respect, and provide sanctuary for our ill and injured uniformed service personnel, their families, and Canadians alike.
The unveiling is tomorrow, November 1st, at 11 AM. For more info, click here.
