It’s hard to go anywhere that pop is sold without seeing the “Share A Coke” displays. I’ve spent a decent amount of time searching through the bins trying to find one with my name on it, with no luck.
I searched and searched, and even at one point said “I’m not drinking Coke again until I find one with my name on it!” It reached a boiling point a couple days back, as I was strolling through Walmart and spotted this:
So there’s Chen, but no Ken?! This is bullshit! pic.twitter.com/K4vd5zuhH1

I’ll be honest, I’ve never met a person named Chen. I know there are people out there named Chen, but I’ve yet to meet one, whereas I’ve met quite a few Kens throughout my life. Oh well, carry on.
The next day, I got a text from my girlfriend Anne while she was at work. Apparently she found this in the fridge:
I don’t normally go by Kenny anymore, but I’ll respond to it… I was just thrilled to have my name on a bottle! Anne ended up drinking this one, but then brought me home a bottle of Coke which also said “Kenny.” I was pretty happy with that.
Then today, my pals Greg and Julie of the Peterborough Patriots Sports Club (who are also involved in the Chemung Lake Lions Club Cruise Nights in Bridgenorth) stopped by the Wolf Den, and brought me a super awesome gift!

Apparently they had seen my plight on Twitter and decided to hook me up. They were at the CNE a couple days ago and had one of these cans custom made for me! They said they wanted to get one that said Patchbeard (which would have been amazing!) but unfortunately they didn’t have that on their list of approved names.
No matter, this just about made my day. Thanks Greg & Julie!
Have you found your name yet?
