You know that the gap between management and workers is getting bigger when one of the country’s largest newspapers, The Globe and Mail, has erected fences around their building to keep out the reporters and editors. This as a response to the worker’s union decision to turn down management’s last contract proposal. It appears that either a strike or a lockout at the Globe is close-at-hand.
But seriously though – a fence? Really? With those kind of actions dominating any real positive discourse, I’m hoping the workers show up tomorrow and start tossing flaming bags of dog poo at the building!
