Have you ever tried to paint anything?
You know, some people have a gift for being artistic. Personally, I find performing arts a hell of a lot easier than visual arts. My idea of producing fine visual art is taking some pencil crayons to a colouring book. I’ll say this: The woman who painted Monkey Jesus onto the Ecce Homo could probably teach me a thing or two about painting.

I have nothing but respect for people who are good at putting paint to canvas, because I don’t think it’s something I could ever do with any proficiency. That being said, I haven’t tried everything. There could be things out there (aside from practice) that make you better at painting. Some people would argue that hallucinogenic drugs have that effect (whether taken while painting, or while admiring the piece).
This one guy Cory (or Mr. Safety, as he prefers to be called) had another good idea for a painting aid: a shock collar.
(Not surprisingly, this contains a little bit of NSFW language)
I haven’t seen Mr. Safety paint without the aid of the shock collar, so I can’t say for sure whether it helped or hindered him. I will say that it was likely FAR more entertaining to watch than it would have been without the collar, so for that reason, I’d say that’s a success.
This is one of a series of videos from SMP Films (The SMP stands for Simple Minded People) which features this particular shock collar. Wouldn’t you love to stick a shock collar on your friend and take the remote as you both wander into a Walmart?
Although, it sure seems like a heck of a lot less fun to be on the receiving end of the jolts…
If you want to buy the “Shock Fruit” painting, here’s the eBay auction for it.
