A new device called iDoorCam, can notify you via iPhone or iPad whenever there’s someone at your door — even if you’re not at home.
It’s a small round device that connects to your home internet through WiFi and attaches to your existing doorbell power wires.
Basically, when someone comes to your door, you’ll get an instant notification to your iPhone. You can choose to accept it or ignore it. If you accept it, you will see a live video of who’s at your door. You can then chat with and they can chat back to you.
It’s a small round device and doesn’t look out of place at all.
You can be at home or anywhere around the world. You can be on vacation and see who’s coming to you your door when you’re not home or see who’s visiting your kids while you’re away.
iDoorCam’s website has yet accept preorders for the $165 system, but those first in line could get their devices as soon as October.
